Last Ride

Saying goodbye to an old friend is tough. When it's an inanimate object it’s still tough- and a little weird. I mean, it’s a… thing, made of metal, plastic, rubber, whatever.  Yet goodbye is still difficult.

Christmas Eve morning, Bob, Tim, Kevin, Mark and I went for a dirt bike ride in Jean.

Primm WORCS race

Perhaps this should be a 'Motivational Minute' cautionary tale. Because I lost the mental game at the WORCS race in Primm last weekend. First, the start. There's nothing like the start of a motorcycle race. Bikes on either side, revving their engines, every eye focused on the starter, anticipating his throw of the flag.

50 States Last Supper and Moving

Last night our good friends Keith and Melody had us over for the Last Supper. And brace yourself: She took our plants. Incredible. Those plants will actually live and perhaps even thrive.  While the plants live under our care, it can’t be credited with much more than survival. I think the plants got a much better deal than the dog. I just hope none of the plants try to blog. Too weird.
